Who we are

Supported Steps Enterprises was founded by two women with a shared vision, to provide disability support that truly puts people first.

After working for organisations where clients often felt like numbers rather than individuals, we knew there had to be a better way.

We created Supported Steps Enterprises to deliver support that is personal, respectful and empowering. Our goal is to build meaningful relationships, support individual goals and provide care that we would be proud to offer our own families.

For us, it’s more than just a service. It’s a commitment to walking alongside every participant with compassion, integrity and heart. Our shared lived experience in supporting family members with disabilities gives us a unique understanding of the trust families place in providers and support workers.

Our Team

I have over five years of experience working within the NDIS sector, as well as in other care-based roles including aged care and community nursing. Much of my work has involved providing one-on-one support (and occasionally two-on-one), assisting with community access, daily living activities, and personal care as required.

I am also a registered nurse, which further supports my ability to provide safe, high-quality care tailored to individual needs.

Outside of work, I’m easy-going and enjoy having a laugh. My hobbies include walking, reading, book rebinding, sublimation, and cooking (among many others). I’m also a mum to three young boys, along with two small dogs, a cat, and a fish!

I truly value building supportive, positive connections with the people I work with and strive to create a comfortable and respectful environment for everyone I support.

Grace

I have over seven years of experience in disability support and have had the privilege of working with many amazing people. I’ve supported both children and adults across a wide range of needs, including mental health, ASD, and ADHD. I always aim to adapt my approach to suit each individual’s preferences, goals, and support needs.

I have a background in childcare and have previously undertaken nursing studies, which has further developed my understanding of health, wellbeing, and person-centred care.

I enjoy spending time with my two beautiful kids, painting and going op shopping! I love going for walks and doing crafts.

I believe support should feel natural, respectful, and empowering.

Jasmine

Hi, I’m Mia! I’m currently studying Social Work and have found such a passion for helping and supporting others. I enjoy learning more about people and how to provide support that is respectful, understanding, and tailored to everyone.

I have experience around ASD and ADHD and understand the importance of patience, routine, communication, and creating a safe and positive environment.

Outside of support work and study, you’ll usually find me outdoors. I absolutely love the beach, nature, and anything involving the ocean. I’m also very passionate about the environment and caring for animals especially dogs!

I aim to create support that feels natural, comfortable, and empowering while building genuine connections with the people I work with.
